1)Coal is a black hard mineral found below the ground and burnt to produce heat .

2)mineral oil is the mixture of hydrocarbons (90–95%) and other substances like oxygen,sulphur and nitrogen.

3)when a whole or a part of plant remains in swampy land for a long time in the form of fossil ,it gets converted into coal .

4)the mineral oil is formed after the compression of fossils under sedimentary rocks for millions of years .
