For eg. - India , Spain and Belgium

2. Coming together federations - This is a federation in which independent states come together to form a large or bigger unit, so that by poolinf sovereignty and retaining identity they can increase their security.

Hoi ! ^-^

  • Well ...since exams are over n this might not be useful to u ...So, coming to the answer...it's supposed to be a 2-3 marks question .....
  • The federal form of government that is made up by joining several small constituencies together to form a country is called coming together federalism.
  • e.g- several small states came together n formed the United States of America.

  • The federal form of government in which the whole country is divided into several states that hold together is holding together federalism.
  • e.g- In India, the country is divided into 29 states.
