Answer:

Contact force- it is a type of force which requires a contact to occur. For example kicking a ball is an example of contact force because while kicking a ball your foot came in the contact/touches it it forced the ball to push forward.

Non-contact force- it is a kind of force which does not require a contact to occur. For example gravity, it acts like a non contact force because it pulls you even when you are in the contact with it .

CONTACT FORCE:

The force which acts inly when objects are in physical contact with each other.

CONTACT FORCE is again divided into

MUSCULAR FORCE and GRAVITATIONAL FORCE.

ex: all animals including humans beings use muscular force for most of their activities.

NON-CONTACT FORCE:

The force of interaction which acts on an object without its having any direct physical conatct with another body.

NON-CONTACT FORCE is divided into

GRAVITATIONAL FORCE, MAGNETIC FORCE and ELECTIC FORCE.

ex: Ripe fruits that grow on trees fall to the ground by themselves. This happens due to gravitational force.
