Answer:In Thermal powerplants non renewable source of fuel is used such as coal,etc to produce heat further using that heat to produce steams that will drive turbines to produce electricity(Through Dynamo), whereas in geothermal powerplants non-renewable source of fuel is used that is the hot steam that is naturally produced from the heat of earth near hot water springs that steam is used to drive turbines to generate electricity.
