Disciplinary projects are those projects which comes under the course which you are pursuing. Interdisciplinary projects are the projects which are out of your academic syllabus. For example, if you are a Mechanical Engineering Student and you are working on a project that involves only the knowledge of Mechanical Endineering, then that is a disciplinary project. But if the project requires the knowledge of other subjects or has an impact on other subjects as well, then that project is an interdisciplinary project.
