Distance is the amount/length covered.
Displacement is the shortest distance covered

Here is your answer mate......

1.Distance is the longest path between initial and final point whereas displacement is the shortest path between initial and final point.
2.Distance is always positive while displacement can be negative in some cases.
3.distance is never zero but displacement can be zero.
4.distance is scalar quantity whereas displacement is vector quantity.
