the river arise from west side is Eastern rivers..
the river arises from east side is Western river....
the eastern river flows to bay of Bengal...
the western rivers flows to Arabian sea....

◇ They originate from the Western Ghats and flows to eastward direction.

◇ They form delta at their mouth.
◇ They flow into Bay of Bengal.
◇ These rivers do not flow through very deep channels.
◇ Examples- Krishna, Kaveri, Godavari

WESTERN FLOWING RIVERS
◇ They originate from from central India and flow to westward direction.
◇ They carry a small amount of water.
◇ They form esturies at their mouth.
◇ They flow into Arabian sea.
◇ These rivers flow in channel.
◇ Examples- Narmada, Tapi
