Answer:

Endopeptidases and the exopeptidases are the enzymes which help in the digestion of proteins. *Endopeptidases can break peptide bonds between the amino acids in a polypeptide chain while Exopeptidases are the enzymes which break the bonds between the amino acids existing at the end of the polypeptide chain.

*Endopeptidases and exopeptidases are secreted by the stomach, pancreas and intestinal cells .

*Pepsin secreted by the cells in the stomach and Trypsin secreted by the cells in the intestine are endopeptidases which can hydrolyse peptide bonds in proteins to form smaller peptides.

*Carboxypeptidase is an exopeptidase which breaks the bonds existing between the last but one and the last amino acids.

*Endopeptidases cannot breakdown peptides into monomers while Exopeptidases can breakdown proteins into monomers.
