Distinguish between file system and database management system

Hi. A file system and a database management system are two different things. A file system is a part of OS used to store files and folders in a directory and helps to locate and navigate to the file. A database management system (DBMS) is a application software used to create tables and a link between them. Eg:- MS Access. Hope it helps.
