ovaries are female reproductive organs while testis are the male reproductive organ
ovaries produce estrogen and progestogen, while in males it is testosterone

Ovary is the primary sex organ in females which produces eggs..It also, secretes hormone such as estrogen (which imparts female secondary sexual characters) and progesterone (which maintains pregnancy).
Ovary remains functional up to 50 years of ago.
Testis:
Testis is the primary sex organ in males which produces sperms.It also secretes hormone testosterone which imparts male secondary sexual characters.
Testis remains functional even more than 70 years of age.
