Hey buddy,
# Fundamental vs Derived units-
1. Fundamental units are independent but derived units depend on fundamental units.
2. Fundamental units measure fundamental quantities (mass, length, time) while derived units measure derived quantities (area, force, velocity).
3. Fundamental units cannot be expressed elsewise while derived units can be expressed in terms of fundamental units.
4. Examples-
- Fundamental units- meter, second, kilogram
- Derived units - Newton, Poise, Coulomb
