The difference between heavy industry and light industry is that the light industries are mostly the manufacturers who products are usually produced by them but the end usage is done by someone else that is mostly the customers whereas heavy industries are the ones who are the sellers and they believe in being oriented towards the business rather than towards customer orientation.
