Herbivores refer to those animals that consume only plants. This includes leaves, grains and seeds. On the other hand, carnivores are those animals that eat meat in order to survive.

The herbivorous animals are defined as the animals which are heterogeneous in nature but only eat herbs, shrubs and plants. Whereas the carnivorous animals are defined as the heterogeneous animals which eat flesh for their living. EXPLANATION: The example of herbivorous animals are cow, elephant, giraffe, etc..
