Distinguish between heterochromatin and euchromatin. Which of the two is transcriptionally active?

Answer:

Euchromatin is lightly stained, thinner and loosely packed chromatin while heterochromatin is darkly stained, thicker and densely packed chromatin. Euchromatin is transcriptionally active .
