Shiwalik:
* The outer most himalaya
* Extend over 10-50km of width
* Altitude varies between 900-1000m
* Composed of unconsolidated sediments brought down by rivers from the main himalaya
* Covered with thick gravel and alluvium
* The longitudinal valley lying b/w lesser himalayas and Shiwalik are know as DUNS

(1):- Himadri or greater Himalayas consist all major mountain ranges of the himalays.
(2):-It is the highest,longestand largest amongst the four parallel ranges of the himalays.
Shiwalik
(1):- It is a mountain range of outer himalays also known as manok parbat.
(2):-It is about 2400 km long and its width varies from 10 to 50 km
