Water is there in Himalayan Riversthroughout the year. They are perennial because the source of water for theserivers is the rain as well as mountains. Himalayan rivers originate from glacier while peninsular rivers originate from highland. Himalayan rivers are perennial due to their origination from glaciers while peninsular rivers are seasonal due to their total dependence on rain water.
