Homogenous Mixture:

A mixture in which solute and solvent are mixed thoroughly and no seperate phases / boundaries

appear. This Mixture can not be separated easily

Example: A Mixture of salt and water

Heterogeneous Mixture:

A mixture in which solute and solvent are not mixed thoroughly and separate phases/ boundaries appear.This Mixture can be separated easily.

Example:A Mixture of chalk and water.

Answer: homogeneous mixture: in this mixture we obtained a single phase and this mixture is easily to come into separating.

Example: salt+water , sugar+water etc..

heterogeneous mixture: in this mixture we get two phase.

Example: sand+water, iron nail+ water, etc..
