Answer:

Distinguish between Homosphere and Heterosphere...

The main difference between the homosphere and heterosphere is that the homosphere is the lower part of the atmosphere, up to about sixty miles (100 km), whereas the heterosphere is the upper part of the atmosphere. The homosphere and heterosphere are the two layers of the atmosphere.

Give reasons

 Solid particles play an important role in the atmosphere.

Particles of dust, soil, fecal matter, metals, salt, smoke, ash and other solids make up a small percentage of the atmosphere.. Particles are important because they provide starting points (or nuclei) for water vapor to condense on, which then forms raindrops.

Stratosphere provides ideal conditions for Jet Air Crafts to fly...

Commercial jet aircraft fly in the lower stratosphere to avoid the turbulence which is common in the troposphere below. The stratosphere is very dry; air there contains little water vapor. Because of this, few clouds are found in this layer; almost all clouds occur in the lower, more humid troposphere.

Draw a neat and labelled diagram of the structure of the Atmosphere..

Answer. 1. The homosphere is a zone of the atmosphere where the constituent gases are fairly well mixed-on average the composition is homogeneous throughout. The heterosphere lies above the homosphere and is a zone of poor mixing where the average composition varies depending on the location within it.

2. Particles of dust, soil, fecal matter, metals, salt, smoke, ash and other solids make up a small percentage of the atmosphere.. Particles are important because they provide starting points (or nuclei) for water vapor to condense on, which then forms raindrops.

3.Commercial jet aircraft fly in the lower stratosphere to avoid the turbulence which is common in the troposphere below. The stratosphere is very dry; air there contains little water vapor. Because of this, few clouds are found in this layer; almost all clouds occur in the lower, more humid troposphere.
