Distinguish between Hypermetropia and presbyopia

Presbyopia:- Presbyopia is purely age related(Usually happens after the age of 40) in which person feels difficulty in focusing near objects(& feels difficulty for reading also) in spite of wearing distance correction or not having any distance correction.

Hypermetropia:-

Hypermetropia is not age related. It is due to parallel rays of light coming from infinity are focused behind the Retina with accommodation at rest. Plus(Convex lenses are required for the correction).But no additional plus power is required for near in this case.

Hypermetropia is a defect of the eye in which distant objects can be seen clearly but, nearby objects cannot be seen distinctly WHILE

Presbyopia is a defect of vision in which an eye cannot see both nearby as well as far objects clearly .
