Distinguish between hypothetical isotonic hypertonic solution​

Hypotonic - when the concentration of solute in the solution is lower than the intracellular fluid i.e. cytoplasm and cell sap the solution is called hypertonic solution

Hypertonic- when the concentration of solute is the solution is higher than the solvent , the solution is called hypertonic

Isotonic- when the concentration of solutes on both sides of the cell membrane is the same is called isotonic solution
