In Hypotonic solution the medium contains more water than the cell.. The cell will gain water by the process called osmosis and it bulges
In Isotonic solution the medium and the cell contains equal amount of water
In Hypertonic solution the cell contains more water than that of medium.. The cell looses it water by plasmolysis and shrinks
