Ferrous and non-ferrous minerals
-Metallic minerals which contain iron are called ferrous minerals, e.g. iron ore, manganese, nickel, cobalt, etc. On the other hand, metallic minerals which do not contain iron are called non-ferrous minerals, e.g. copper, bauxite, tin, etc.
Conventional and non-conventional sources of energy
- Sources of energy which have been in use since a long time are called conventional sources of energy, e.g. coal, firewood, petroleum, hydel energy, etc. Sources of energy which have come into use recently are called non-conventional sources of energy, e.g. solar energy, wind energy, nuclear energy, etc. I HOPE NOW IT'S HELPS U

2)they pollute the environment
3)they are not eco friendly
4)they are non renewable sources of energy

non conventional source of energy:-
1) they are of recent origin
2)they cause less pollution
3)they are eco friendly
4)they are renewable sources of energy
5) solar , wind , tidal, biogas energy etc

ferrous minerals :-
1)they contain ferrous
2)they provide strong Base for metallurgical industries
3) iron , manganese

non ferrous minerals :-
1)they do not contain ferrous
2) india reserves of it are not satisfactory
3)bauxite , copper
