A reference frame is a space in which we are making observations and measuring physical quantities.

There are two type of reference frames : the inertial reference frame and non inertial reference frame.

Inertial Reference Framesare reference frames in which Newton first law of motion holds i.e. an object at rest and an object in motion remains in motion unless acted by a net force. An inertial reference frame is either at rest or moves with a constant velocity.

A non inertial reference frame is a reference frame that is accelerating, either in linear fashion or rotating around some axis.

Examples : Label the type of reference frames :

A train moving with constant velocity. (Inertial)

A rotating merry-go-round.(Non Inertial)

A turning car with constant speed (Non Inertial)

The rotating Earth (Non Inertial)

Answer:

Explanation:

inertial frame of reference:

1)a frame is at rest or moving with uniform velocity

example :railway platform

2)in this Newton's laws of motion holds good

non inertial frame of reference:

1)a frame that moves with a uniform acceleration

example: rotating platform

2) in this Newton's laws of motion does not hold good

Hope it will help you
