distinguish between infection and non infection disease


shriyamlaa: desease which can spread over bodies by medium of air,water and food. and non infection is just opposite to it.

The differences are as follows..

*Infectious diseases are the diseases based on occurrence or spread and duration. These are the diseases caused by micro-organisms like bacteria, virus, fungi and protozoa. Non-infectious diseases are the diseases based on occurrence or spread. These are the diseases caused by genetic abnormalities, malfunctioning of organs, environmental factors etc. e.g.cancer, hemophilia, genetic diseases,cardiovascular diseases etc.



*Infectious diseases are spread from one person to another through contaminated air, food, water, mites, vectors etc. Non-infectious diseases do not spread from one person to another.


*Infectious diseases are called as communicable diseases and non-infectious diseases are called as non-communicable diseases.
