water resources including water sources

Water sources are forms of natural water accumulation

Explanation:

Under the heat of Heaven, water evaporates into the air. The rising gas flows carry steam, meet lower temperatures, steam condensates into clouds and travel around the globe.

Clouds collide with each other, combine, increase size and fall (precipitation) in the form of rain and snow. Snow is accumulated into snowy mountains and glaciers, able to hold ice for thousands of years. When spring comes, snow melts and flows into the ground, sometimes forming floods.

Most of the rainfall falls on the oceans and on the ground. Part of it flows on the ground into streams, into rivers and flows into the ocean. Part of it is accumulated into freshwater lakes. A large amount of water seeps into the ground to form an underground flow. Some groundwater flows into freshwater streams. The shallow groundwater is absorbed by roots and drains through the leaves.

Water continues to penetrate deeper soil layers to supplement and regenerate huge freshwater stockpiles. However, this amount of water circulates over time, returning to the ocean, where a new cycle begthereby creating waterins.
