Large scale industries:

Manufacture large quantities of finished goods.

The quantity of raw material and capital investment is large.

Ex: iron and steel industry, cotton textile industry.

Small scale industries:

Manufacture small goods.

No huge quantity of raw material capital is required.

Ex: garment industry, soap making industry.

Large Scale industry :

→ On the basis of investment, the industries in which capital investment is made of more than rupees 1 crore, the industry is known as large scale industry.

→It produces large quantity of goods.

→Eg : Iron and steel industry, automobile industry, etc.

Small scale Industry :

→ The industry in which the maximum investment is made up of rupees 1 crore, the industry is termed as small scale industry.

→It manufactures less quantity of goods.

→For eg : textile industry, paper industry, etc.
