Difference between latitude and altitude is given below as follows:

Earth is divided radially into two halves by a line that runs in the middle, called equator. The upper portion of the divided half is called North Pole and the lower portion of this half is known as South Pole.

The distance between these two halves of the equator is given as latitude.

Any height that can be measured above the level of the sea is called altitude of that object.
