Line Standard - When the length being measured is expressed as the distance between two lines, this is known as line standard.
End Standard -  At the point when the length being estimated is expressed as the separation between two surfaces or ends, this is known as end standard. End standards are very exact and well-reasonable to close tolerance estimation.
