our standard time of india is taken on 82°1/2E longitude passes from mirzapur
for every grid system the time difference is 4minutes .if we taken for all aspects time as a standard time it leads to confusion for a particular area
for example if the time in arunachal Pradesh is 6:00 pm according to standard time then same time in Gujarat but it doesn't clarify situation standard time from GMT is 5 1/2 hours
