Distinguish between magnetic energy and chemical energy

Explanation:

There is no such thing as electric energy nor magnetic energy. It would be like regarding gravity as energy. To store energy making use of gravity you have to, for example, raise a mass and hold it in an elevated position. (Thinking of pumping water into a reservoir up in the higher areas) When that mass is allowed to come down the potential energy stored in the mass can be liberated using some kind of electrical generator. (Think of water flowing down from a dam through a hydro system to produce electricity).

Where there is a potential gradient then the difference in electric potential (think the difference between the voltages on the terminals of a battery or generator) can be used to drive an electric current, and its energy can be used to perform work (think driving an electric motor to convert it into mechanical energy or supplying a heater to convert it into thermal energy).

Explanation:

The direction of the magnetic field is indicated by lines. ... While the electric fields are generated around the particles which obtain electric charge. During this process, positive charges are drawn, while negative charges are repelled.
