- It is also called electropositive character.
- Increases down in the group.
- Decreases along the period from left to right.
Non-metallic character:
- The tendency of an element to accept electrons to form an anions re non-metallic characters
- It is also called electronegetive character.
- Decreases down the group.
- Increases along the period from left to right.
