When molten magma from the inside of the earth comes to the surface of earth it rapidly cools Down to form Igneous rocks..And I am giving you some additional informations ,

  • Igneous rocks are also called primary rocks.
  • all rocks are formed after igneous rocks are formed.

when igneous rocks and sedimentary rocks are subjected to great heat and pressure , they form metamorphic rocks..

  • metamorphic again become molten magma if they are again subjected to more heat and pressure..
