Micronutrients

They are the plant nutrients which are required in very small quantities and are mainly responsible for repairing damaged tissues in order to control body process disease, prevention of infectious diseases by fighting against the disease-causing agents including bacteria, virus, fungi, etc. Micronutrients include calcium, iron, vitamins, iron, minerals and vitamin C.

Macronutrients

They are the plant nutrients which are required in large quantities and are specially meant for providing energy and for supporting the metabolic system and growth of the body. Macronutrients include fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.
