Distinguish between mullet and a prawn?

Mullet is a type of fish while prawn is a crustacean. Both live in water and serve as a food supplement worldwide. Prawn belongs to group arthropoda whereas mullet belongs to group pisces. So you can use their characteristic features to distinguish between the two.
