Neutalisation reaction :-
Acid and base react with each other to form salt and water.
In this reaction , both acid ans base neutralize each other
Acid + Base ----> Salt + H₂O
Eg: -
HCl + NaOH ----> NaCl + H₂O
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Displacement reaction(single displacement) is a reaction in which a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its compound.
Eg:-
Fe + CuSO₄ ------> FeSO₄ + Cu
In the case of double displacement , exchange of ions takes place :-
Eg:-
BaCl₂ + Na₂SO₄ ---------> BaSO₄ + NaCl
