Distinguish between northen plains and the peninsula plateau

northern plains are found from uttarakhand to the north east whereas peninsular plateau is found from MP to Kerala
northern plains are more fertile and r suitable for growing crops whereas peninsular plateau is rich in minerals
northern plains are divided into 3 parts namely, Punjab plains , Ganga plains and Brahmaputra plains whereas peninsular plateau is divided into2 parts namely, central highlands and deccan plateau
