The northern plains is in north -east side some area of west also. But Deccan plateau spread only south side. In size the northern plains are much greater than Deccan plateau. Northern plains are much fertile than Deccan plains .The main river of northern plains is Ganga but the Deccan plains it is godavri. The length of Gaga is more than Godavari . The length of gangs is 2415 m and godavri is 1465 m. But more educate people in Kerala that is in south. But more national income is paid to government by Punjab that is in north- side....
