non-olympic- 1. Substances which do not obey ohm's law are called non-ohmic substances

Ohmic substance:

Which substances are obeys ohms law , those substances are called as “ohmic sunstances".

In this substances current is directly proportional to the voltage .

Examples: copper wire , aluminium

Non ohmic substances:

Which substances do not obeys ohms ias, those are called it as “non ohmic substances"

Examples:transistors, vaccum tubes .

Differences:

In ohmic substances , voltage and current graph is linear , in non ohmic substances the graph is not a straight line.
