Answer:
Open Unemployment:
- Refers to the situation in which an individual has no job and is unable to earn his/her livelihood.
- This type of unemployment is clearly visible.
- Generally found in urban areas among educated members of the society.
- The person is not earning anything.
- This will affect the production of goods and services in an economy.
- Example: A young man, graduated and searching for job.
Disguised Unemployment:
- Here, people work at a place where there are no more people required.
- This type of unemployment is hidden.
- Exists generally in the agricultural sector and mostly among the rural people.
- The person may or may not earn money.
- This won't affect the production because here already more than require people work.
- Example: There is need of 4 labourers in a work but six are working. Then the two of them are in disguised unemployment.
