Policy: It will be define as the set of rules or a formulated set of guidelines that guides the government or various departments of the government that how the particular action or task is being performed. Eg- food policies, foreign policies etc. made by the government.

Scheme: It is a large scale systematic plan or arrangement for achieving some particular defined goal or object . As it address the problems of a large section of society. Eg- Jan Dhan Yojna, MNREGA etc.

Programme: It is a planned series of future events or performances or it may also be defined as it is the set of related activities or task with a particular long term goal or aim. It aims on specific goal. Eg- Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, SAUBHAGYA etc.

Plan: As it is the detailed proposal for doing or achieving something or it may also be defined as a long term roadmap to achieve some broad goals. Eg- Five years government plans, your daily routine, yearly curriculum etc.

Act: As it is the law formulated by legislature. It is been made to get the task or things done systematically and legally. Eg- pension act, SC/ST atrocities act, punjab laws act etc.
