Murray's theory of psychogenic needs
The primary needs are the basic needs that we need to survive. In another way, we can say that they are our biological demands.
For example, in order to breathe, we need air, so it is a primary need; otherwise, we will suffocate.
The secondary needs are more like psychological needs, that we need to have mental stability.
For example, without happiness, we will be sad.
