Difference between Primary Data and Secondary Data:-
→ Data collected by the investigator for the first time from the beginning to the end for his own purpose is known as primary data. Data that is collected for some other purpose and it already existed is called secondary data.
→ The primary data is collected from the source of the origin whereas the secondary data isn't collected from the source of the origin.
→ It is obvious that if data is collected from the source of the origin by the investigator himself/herself, it would be original. Secondary data isn't original as it already existed.
→ Collecting primary data can be costly and time-consuming whereas collecting secondary data requires less money and effort as compared to primary data.
