Distinguish between Prism and Grating spectra. What are Absent spectra?​

In the prism spectra we cannot differentiate the spectral lines but in the grating spectra we can distinguish the lines of spectra. In the prism spectra red having the highest wavelength and closer to the direct ray but in the grating spectra, the violet has highest wavelength as it near to the direct ray.
