Industry is a big form of a business which consolidates a number of small units,firm in itself.lets example, If we talking about cotton industry there are various small unit like cotton producing(raw materials),ginning,sppining…. then last process to produce finish product like Shirt,Shocks Bags etc.those all are in form of small firm that helps to produce a finish product,saperately each is a firm,small production unit and comes under cotton industry.Lets talking about trade .it is process of selling a saperate,a unique product into market that may be finished product of any industry or product of a firms.
