Rabi Crops:
1. These crops grow in the winter season (October-March).
2. Seeds of these crops are sown in the beginning of the winter season.
3. These crops are harvested at the end of winter season (April-May)
4. Examples: Wheat, Gram and Mustard.

Kharif Crops:
1. These crops grow during rainy season.
2. Seeds of these crops are sown in the beginning of the rainy season.
3. These crops are harvested at the end of rainy season (October).
4. Examples: Jowar, Rice and Maize.

Zaid Crops:
1. These crops grow in the short duration between Rabi and Kharif crops (usually March- June).
2. Seeds of these crops are usually sown in the month of March.
3. These crops are harvested in the month of June.
4. Examples: Water melon, Cucumber and Musk melon.

Rabi crops--. the crops which are grown in winter season are known as rabi crops... example-- wheat, peas etc.

Kharif crops-- the crops which are grown in summer season are called kharif crops... example-- jawar, bajra etc... it is the summer crop or monsoon crop of India.
they are usually sown with the beginning of month July, during the south-west monsoon season.

Zaid crop-- the crops grown on irrigated land which do not have to wait for monsoons, in the short duration between rabi and kharif crop season mainly from march to June are called Zaid crops.. example-- watermelon, cucumber etc.
