distinguish between rest and motion

A body is said to be at rest when it doesn't change it's position with respect to time while a body is said to be in motion when it changes it's position with respect to time.

Hey here your ans...... A body is said to be at rest if doesn't change it's position with respect to its surroundings while a body is said to be in motion if it continuously change its position with respect to its surrounding
