Distinguish between roasting and calcination' which of these two is used for sulphide ores and why?

Roasting:

1)this method is used for obtaining oxide ore of a metal from its sulphide ore

2)in this method, the sulphide ore of a metal is heated strongly in presence of oxygen.

Calcination:

1)this method is used for obtaining the oxide ore of a metal from its carbonate ore.

2)in this method, the ore is heated in limited supply of oxygen.

Roasting :It is the process in which crushed or grinded ore heated strongly in the presence of air or oxygen.

Calcination :It is the process in which crushed or grinded ore are heated strongly in the absence of oxygen .

Roasting is used for sulphide ore.
