Rural marketing is the process of developing, pricing, promoting and distributing rural specified goods and services. It leads to desired exchange with rural customers to meet their needs and demands and also to achieve organisational objectives.
Agricultural marketing aims at covering the services involved in moving an agricultural product from the farm to the consumer. It also aims at planning, organising, directing and handling agricultural products in such a way as to satisfy the farmer, producer and the consumer.
