Scavengers: These are the organisms that feed on dead animals that they find. For example jackals and crow.

Decomposers: These are the organisms which are also known as organisms of decay as they are micro organisms which feed on decaying and dead organic matter.

They break down the remains of Dead animals and plants releasing substances that can be used by other members of the ecosystem.

For example bacteria and fungi.
