Distinguish between self-pollination and cross-pollination.

Answer:

*self pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same flower, where as cross pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from anther to the same flower or another flower of same species or another species.

*self pollination does not yield new varieties ,where as in cross pollination new varieties of flowers are produced.
